Creative Hair Clinic’s owner, Pat Ward, started in the hair business at 16 years of age, becoming an apprentice barber in Joe Lawlor’s barbers in Drumcondra, Dublin, He has been in the industry ever since. Pat opened his first barber shop in Drumcondra in 1978 and since then he has had 11 different barber shops located in the greater Dublin area. In 1986 Pat opened a barber shop in Leixlip. Business flourished over the next few years and in 1994, Pat diversified and went in to partnership opening two hair loss clinics in Belfast and Derry. Both stores were succesful and so Pat decided to open Creative Hair Clinic in Leixlip, building a new unit at the rear of his existing barber shop in 1996. Hair replacement system clients travel from all over Ireland to the clinic, which is a testament to both the quality of Pat’s work and the trust his clients have in him.
Initially the clinic catered for clients seeking quality Hair Replacement systems and many of those initial clients are still with Pat to this day. Initially Pat combined running the barber shop with running the hair clinic but in recent times, as the clinic has continued to grow, Pat has focused solely on hair loss solutions.
In recent years Pat has added to his range of hair loss solutions with the introduction of Scalp Micropigmentation as a further service to clients. This process has two main usages when it comes to treating hair loss. Firstly it is used to give the illusion of a closely shaved head in the balding areas and this treatment is popular with young and middle aged clients. Secondly it is equally as popular with clients of all ages, where it is used used to make longer length thinning hair look fuller. In both usages pigment is injected just under the scalp to match the colour of the existing hair. Please click HERE for more information on Scalp Micro Pigmentation.
