Scalp Micropigmentation
Scalp Micropigmentation is a transformative, non-invasive treatment for both men and women, offering a solution for hair loss and restoring confidence. Using micro needles and pigment, it replicates tiny follicles on the scalp, even in areas of total baldness, creating a natural-looking appearance of short or shaved hair.
The treatment consists of three sessions, beginning with a consultation to determine the desired color and hairline. Each session lasts 2-3 hours, with 7-10 days between sessions for healing. Most clients can return to work the next day.
Hair Transplant
An FUE Hair Transplant is a method where the medical team extract the hair follicles one by one from the donor area. A hair follicle is a sheath of cells and connective tissue which surround the root of the hair.
FUE stands for Follicular Unit Extraction. It is an adaptation of the original method called Follicular Unit Transplantation (F.U.T.). FUT hair transplants are better known as “the strip method”.
Medical staff harvest a strip of scalp from the donor area in an FUT hair transplant. Technicians then dissect the strip under a microscope to isolate the individual hair follicles. It is a slightly more painful method but more importantly it leaves a scar in the donor area of the patient.
What are Hair Replacement Systems?
Hair replacement systems are a non-surgical hair loss solution whereby a micro-thin breathable membrane, hosting human hair, is fixed to the scalp using an adhesive. The new hair is then cut and styled to blend in with the existing hair to give a 100% natural look.
Whilst it is still possible (but rare) to see grown men walking around wearing ill fitting and obvious wigs, advances in technology, adhesives and materials now mean that modern Hair Replacement Systems are undetectable from real hair. They have become a highly effective solution for hair loss.
